Sea Her Rise is a women’s surf community based in Byron Bay, created for women stepping into their wilder, wiser years. We bring women together through surfing, ocean time and shared experiences that support confidence, connection and a deeper relationship with the sea.

Through women’s surf retreats, both in Australia and overseas, one day surf events, surf community days and ocean-based gatherings, we create space to reconnect with yourself, move your body, and rise into a new chapter surrounded by women who truly get it.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the personalised instruction by the Sea Her Rise hosts. Even as a beginner surfer I felt fully supported. Vanessa & Sherri were very knowledgeable and encouraging. The surf apnea instruction was really new to me but I felt really safe with Sherri. The food was fresh, plentiful and amazing!

    I joined the community surf. All of us sitting out the back supporting one another no matter what our level of surfing. I am nearly 60 and have been surfing since 14 years of age and still find hanging with friends and my newly found friends a "hoot".
